Sagor Som Leder Mot Slutet is a Swedish instrumental post‑rock/post‑metal band crafting immersive, narrative‑driven soundscapes that balance heaviness with fragility. Independent since 2014, the band has released four acclaimed studio albums - I, II, II and IV - and composed the award‑winning soundtrack for the film Iris. Their dynamic, atmospheric performances have earned them recognition at festivals such as VIVID Post Rock Festival and Dunk! Festival, establishing them as one of Scandinavia’s most compelling voices in modern post‑rock.

IV is a completely revamped take on their instrumental storytelling - progressive, crushing and heavily rhythmic, while still preserving the Nordic atmosphere that defines the band. Inspired by the raw, unrelenting nature of earth, stone and mountainscapes - these elements are reflected in the album’s themes and overall tone. To support this vision, the album was produced by Martin Mileros, mixed by Piotr Turek of Telepathy, and mastered by Machine from the US, resulting in a more modern, powerful, and impactful sound.
