1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY: 'BLOOD & SPIRIT'

It's been one year since the release of 'Blood & Spirit', the second and utterly unique full length from our Ukrainian friends in Nonsun. A slightly unnerving and powerfully compelling album that feels like a dark spiritual quest. Although the songs were written between 2016 and 2020, the album’s title would sound painfully relevant near the time of release. It almost feels prescient, off-putting, and calculated.

"Blood & Spirit isn’t explicitly grating or abrasive, but makes you earn your comfort and enjoyment. It really feels like it forces you to contend with uncomfortable feelings, though in a way that many doom and post-metal bands don’t do." - Everything Is Noise
