On December 2nd 2024 our dunk!points reward program will cease to operate. This means that your purchases will no longer count towards your reward points and that no more points can be collected effective December 3rd. All points collected before that date will remain valid until December 31st 23:59. You will be able to redeem all your points and claim your rewards until then. Effective January 1st 2025, all points and point-generated rewards will cease to exist.
While not easy, these changes are made necessary by the rising costs in packing and shipping materials and the recent price hikes imposed by our shipping partners. The main factor however, is the ever rising fees involved with running this very reward program, as well as changes in membership tiers, which have de facto contributed to degrading this experience for both us and our trusted fans.
These factors combined are contributing to making our rewards program not only costly for us, but also inefficient for you. For instance, we're now no longer able to track shipments directly with the shipping operator, which makes every lost or delayed package extremely difficult (read: impossible) to find. This is not only time-consuming for our staff, but also very frustrating for our fans.
And it is with our trusted fans' best interest in mind that we are making these changes, with the intention and goal to provide better service and faster reply times while offering the same quality products for the same competitive prices. We could have raised prices, but that would not ultimately solve any of these issues, and only cost our fans more money.
Instead we will be running more sales, more promos, more special contests and giveaways, and offer more bundles and more opportunities to save, as well as our renewed commitment to pressing amazing music on beautiful vinyl records (and yes, we will continue to offer free shipping, with some minor changes).
During this time we will also be making some changes to our website and especially to our contact policies, which are designed to improve your shopping experience and to help you find support and answers faster.
