BIO

Afterwise is an instrumental band from Athens, Greece, operating within the post-rock and post-metal genres with a strong emphasis on atmospheric soundscapes and dynamic compositions.

Formed in 2021, Afterwise have appeared at some of Athens' most prominent live venues, sharing the stage with bands of a similar aesthetic, including Maybeshewill, Their Methlab, and Halocraft, in performances defined by their intensity and atmospheric sound.

On June 9, 2026, Afterwise released their debut full-length album, “Disintegration,” recorded and mixed by Jim Spanos at Blackbox Studio. Across six instrumental compositions, the album explores themes of reaching equilibrium through disintegration, cycles in life, and the consequences of anthropocentric thinking and illusions. With "Disintegration", Afterwise continues to push its sound forward, crafting immersive instrumental journeys where atmosphere and intensity speak louder than words. The album is scheduled for a vinyl release in September 2026 through a co-production between dunk!records and Blackbox Records.
