BIO

Originally hailing from Herzele, Celestial Wolves have been with dunk! since the very beginning and they're true local legends!

Emerged in 2011 from several music projects Celestial Wolves released its debut album Wood for Wood on dunk!records in 2013, sophomore LP "Illusive Landscape of Expression" in 2015 and "Call of the Void" in 2018. Now, 7 long years later, the band is back with a new line-up, and a whole new (double!) album!! 𝐕 𝐈 𝐈 𝐈 𝐕 - pronounced ‘five is four’ is a bombastic record, consolidating yet expanding the band's elegant sound.

Written over the span of several years including a shift in personnel the band decided to work with producer Chiaran Verheyden for the arrangements and recording process. The recordings itself took place at dunk!records in March 2025 with the professional assistance of sound engineer Jannes Van Rossom who also delivered the mix and it was Laurens Grossen at Motormusic who mastered the album in June 2025.

Compared to the band's previous albums 𝐕 𝐈 𝐈 𝐈 𝐕 is a collection of songs rather than to be a concept album and includes additional instruments such as a brass section (trumpet, trombone and bugle), percussion items (shakers, xylophone, tanggu drums), piano and string section (cello and double bass). Celestial Wolves are aging like fine wine, and sounding better than ever in their latest incarnation!
