Black Metal aggression blended with blissful shoegazing catharsis. Haunting and somehow nostalgic, Myriad Drone produce an enigmatic form of cinematic post-rock. One that filled to the brim with as many head banging moments as moments of introspection. Myriad Drone manage to avoid being trite and formulaic through immensely compelling compositions and impeccable interpretation of melody and movement. This is topped off with impressive a vocal performance oscillating between angelic hymns and demonic screams, in a combination that really elevates the music that accompanies them to new dazzling heights!
