If is the thirteenth canonical release from RANGES.

Built around Rudyard Kipling’s poem of the same name, If explores choice, endurance, self-mastery, and the continual process of becoming. The album opens with a spoken-word recitation of the poem before unfolding across five instrumental post-rock compositions inspired by its words and themes.

The standard edition is pressed across four unique vinyl variants, each limited to 150 copies worldwide, and housed in a reverse-finish gatefold jacket with a recycled-paper inner sleeve and digital download.

The Deluxe Edition is limited to 66 hand-numbered copies worldwide, split evenly between the US and Europe. Each copy features an exclusive Half/Half Olive Green/Brown vinyl variant housed in a handmade alternate cover, individually screen printed on parchment-style paper and finished with a hand-tied olive cotton ribbon.

The If Deluxe Edition was created as a physical extension of the album, bringing together a collection of handmade and limited pieces designed specifically for the release. The Deluxe vinyl is pressed on Half/Half Olive Green/Brown vinyl by dunk!pressing and housed in the standard reverse-finish gatefold jacket with a recycled-paper inner sleeve. Each copy is then housed in an alternate cover, hand printed, folded, ribboned, and individually numbered by A Thousand Arms.
