Sidus is a post-metal band based in Berlin, formed by musicians originally from Athens, Greece. Their sound blends atmosphere, heavy riffs, and introspection into expansive, emotionally driven compositions. Drawing inspiration from Russian Circles, Cult of Luna, and Deafheaven, Sidus moves between tension and release, touching on themes of inner conflict, transformation, and the unknown.
The band introduced their sound with the early releases Seasons Reversed (2020) and Dark Flames (2021), followed by the EP Seismos (2023), released via Argonauta Records. Their first full-length album Lotus is a concept record exploring the "human abyss," and will be released on October 16, 2026 via dunk!records, A Thousand Arms and Black Box Records. The album was produced by Enrico Tiberi (The Ocean), features Noah See (Conjurer) on drums, and was mixed and mastered by Joe Clayton (Pijn, Bossk, Conjurer). It also includes a guest appearance by Sarp Keski (Bipolar Architecture) on the track Embrace The Void.
Over the past two years, Sidus has been steadily building a dedicated audience. They have performed across Europe, sharing the stage with acts like Psychonaut, Predatory Void, Hubris, and Bipolar Architecture.
