zakè

zakè is the ambient/drone alias of Zach Frizzell and the stateside label boss of the Past Inside the Present record label. Repetition and textural ambient drone are the quintessential characteristics of his audio output. He was the original drummer of Pillars, who previously released ‘Cavum’ on dunk!records / A Thousand Arms to high acclaim. His first solo release on dunk!records was a collaborative remix track with Slow Dancing Society that appeared on Pillars’ ‘Cavum Reimaged’ 2xLP.
