Song premiere Celestial Wolves

Celestial Wolves is working on a new album and A Thousand Arms released a first brand new song on their latest Open Language compilationPorcupine Bank comes with a small story written by Steve Molter from Beware of Safety.

“Sinead kept the liquor bottles hidden in a chest in her closet. There were twelve of them covered by a winter blanket her grandmother had knitted for her as a child. The bottles were glass, some clear, some with a greenish tint, others dark brown and hardly translucent. Individual pieces of paper, rolled into straws, tied neatly with blue string sat idly inside each bottle. Each had a secret message that she couldn’t bear to be found.
Beneath the bed laid a small stack of parchment paper—similar to the paper in the bottles—a quill, a bottle of ink, and a bundle of red string.
Sinead held a thirteenth bottle in her hands while she sat on the floor between her bed and the wall. The bottle was green glass, streaked with salt and earth from its journey through the sea, but the cork was tightly packed into its mouth. Sinead uncorked the bottle, tipped it upside down, and a note with a blue string fell into her lap. She placed the bottle on the floor next to her, picked up the note, grasped it, and held it expectantly to her forehead. She breathed quietly and gently pulled on the blue string. The paper unfurled out of its tightly wound scroll, and she let the string fall to the floor. Sinead slowly pulled apart the sides of the parchment to reveal one word written in ink: “Today.”
Her eyes closed gently and air passed smoothly between her smiling lips. She was ready for her new journey. She was ready for her new life.”

'The Collectors Corner' loyalty program

'The Collectors Corner' loyalty program

We're pretty excited to tell you about this new feature in our store called The Collectors Corner: a loyalty program to return something to you, our dearest supporters, every time you make a purchase, like us on instagram/facebook, celebrate a birthday or refer a friend. By doing all this you will be able to collect dunk!points from now on. Two points for each euro spent. Like in basketball where you get two points for each goal. Or you can earn more dunk!points with the other actions mentioned.

Earning dunk!points gets easier once you move up through our VIP tiers. Everyone starts as a Bench Player. Moving up to the Starting Line-Up by spending over €150 will get you 200 points and a 5% discount. When reaching MVP (Most Valuable Player) or even All-Star you will become a 3-point shooter and get 3 points for every €1 spent plus lots of other extras like news about exclusive low stock items (that are not likely to hit the store) or a free test pressing.

So what to do with those dunk!points? You can exchange them for discounts, free dunk!shirts, tote bags or other dunk!stuff and even for a free ticket for the next edition of dunk!festival! How about that?

And because everything looks better with a graphic:

But of course you can stay on the bench and earn and spend dunk!points as much as you like from there.

Earn dunk!points by:

  • Purchasing any vinyl in our store (2 (or 3) dunk!points for each euro spent)
  • Following us on instagram and Facebook (100 dunk!points each)
  • Celebrating your birthday (200 dunk!points as a gift)
  • Signing up for this little game (200 dunk!points)
  • Referring a friend (Pick 'n Roll) (200 dunk!points)

Spend dunk!points and change them into:

  • Free tote bag, t-shirt, other dunk!items or even a free dunk!festival ticket
  • Discount codes
  • Free shipping codes

This could be considered as the beta version and as we move along we might change some details. Feedback is always welcome!

Lethvm now available on vinyl

This Fall Shall Cease by Lethvm is now available on vinyl!

Working from the template of Doom and Sludge, Belgium’s Lethvm infinitely increases the brutality with which they press their considerable weight upon the ears of listeners by introducing a raw immediacy that does not typically present itself within those genres.
